Have you ever felt emptiness inside of your heart? You may have everything that you want, but you may sometimes still feel empty. Why is that?

Do you have an answer for that?  Our heart has three layers. Our Heart in which we think, our Soul in which we feel, and our spirit that is in the center of your heart.

God created us to have a relationship with Him through our spirit. Only God can fill your emptiness with His spirit.

Take a look at the left circle. We are surrounded by so many things everyday such as family, school, money, jobs, and more. You have to think about those things no matter what. When something happens to your family, you will worry. When you have financial problems, you will worry. When somebody upsets you at school, you will get mad. The Heart in which we think will affect to your soul and make you feel sad, mad, or happy. Not only that, but your spirit is empty, so you are not strong enough to handle or control your feelings.

But thank God he made the way to fill your emptiness so that you can have peace, joy, and love through your relationship with God. God doesn’t want you to feel emptiness and loneliness. God doesn’t want you to feel sad. God wants to restore his relationship with you. That’s why He sent His only one Son Jesus to restore the relationship between Him and us. When you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior, Jesus will dwell in you.(so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:17) Jesus will fill your emptiness so that you can have peace , joy, and happiness.(But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5: 22)

Take a look at the right circle. When you accept Jesus Christ, He will be your center of your life and He will rule your heart. After you accept Jesus you will still have problems, but when you put Jesus in the center of you, Jesus will give you the power to overcome your problems.

Then how do you get Jesus to dwell in your heart? Jesus said, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

Jesus is knocking at the door today. He want you to open the door and he wants to have a relationship with you. Just tell Him, “Jesus, I need you. I sometimes cannot control myself. I want to change my life. Come into my heart and dwell in me.”
