In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
He was in the biginning with God. John 1: 1-2

Kanji ( chinese characters ) came originally from china. This Kanji means God.
 Chinese characters is derived from picture writing.
It grew into a representation of language of words when it was discovered
that complicated words that were ready to be pictured could be interpreted by their sound rather than their sense.
 The left part of this kanji means " to show ".
The right part of  it means " to say or to tell ".
Also, the square on the right means mouth.
There is a cross top of  mouth.
God showed himself through Jesus on the cross.
God told his love through Jesus on the cross.
God tells us who he is on the cross.
The cross can show you the way you out
when it seems there is no way.
